This morning as I was cleaning up the Aeropress after making coffee, my daughter who was by my side watching me, pivoted to run out the kitchen. As she was making her escape she screams in her sweet, energetic, little voice, “bye! I love you!”.
Moments like these never get old. Moments like these are what makes my heart gooey. Moments like these reaffirms to me that I am blessed to be able to be in my family’s lives that is afforded by working remotely.
Working from home isn’t easy, but these random, unsolicited declarations of love is what burns the desire into my heart to make it work. It’s these moments that define my why.
