Yesterday, Apple kicked off the 2018 annual event of their Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) with the keynote presentation. During the keynote, many exciting new features were announced for iOS, macOS and many more of Apple’s products. While watching the presentation, I noticed the use of a lot of acronyms. So I added the new ones I’ve never heard of, such as USDZ and ZSO and compiled a list of all the acronyms used during the presentation on Spell It Out.
One presenter in particular, Adobe’s CTO, Abhay Parasnis, I thought did a good job spelling out words and phrases that are often abbreviated. This made his portion of the keynote welcoming and more digestible in my opinion to an audience beyond the intended developer and tech audience.
If you watched or are watching the keynote presentation for the first time and puzzled by some of the acronyms used by the speakers, check out the WWDC 2018 list of acronyms spelt out on Spell It Out.
